CNN Reports on Abuse by Big Insurance Companies: Delay, Deny, Defend

Share |

Large insurance companies like Allstate and State Farm commonly use nasty tactics to avoid paying for lost wages, medical bills and other expenses that result from collisions.  As shown in this report, these companies routinely delay, deny and defend valid claims in an effort to increase profits.  This is why we are here to work for you to get fair compensation for your losses and, the studies show, people with legal representation are better off in injury claims.

As CNN’s  in-depth nationwide 18 month report shows, insurance companies  are not to be trusted when you are a person who has incurred a personal injury due to a car accident.  We long ago learned that there is a good chance these  insurance companies will vigorously challenge your claim. And you will find in many cases they offer injured people only a part of the expenses caused by the collision.  The  companies do this in part by forcing injured parties into court, and then delaying these cases for years.  The carriers cover-up the intrinsic evil of these tactics by telling the public they are fighting fraud.  In reality they are just hurting injured people again.  As the CNN report shows, the insurance company  documents establish the tactics are to raise profits, not to help injured people.

As we reported earlier there are other news stories about Allstate’s abusive tactics.

WE only help people injured through the fault of others and fight these carriers and their nasty tactics.  Our goal is to be the best personal injury lawyers in Idaho.  If you’ve been injured call us to talk about your case.  The consultation is free. My home in Ortley Beach NJ was severely damaged by Hurricane Sandy. I had planned to retire there shortly. Now ALLSTSTE insurance company, to whom I paid my flood insurance premiums to for the last 8 years has decided that they will prorate the amount I will receive to rebuild my home. The reason they give is that this is not my primary home. I paid primary premiums and full taxes on this property. Not bad enough that we endured Sandy, now insurance companies are refusing to let me rebuild.
Is there anyone out there who can help people such as myself?
Please publicize this and maybe “You are in good hands with Allstate” will have real meaning.

    Thank you so much.

the company that I work for J.Polep. workmens comp. insurance company is holding out on my checks. it took them over two months to get me an appoint with there independent doctor, when he sent the report in, agreeing with the other doctors saying that I do have a back problem after an injury on the job. In the very beginning after the accident I had to make call after call to start getting my first check, that took almost a month, keep in mind that after getting hurt the next day I went to the emergency room x-rays Dr. said the same thing I’m hurt I then go to my Dr. she schedules a MRI confirms, I’m hurt. I’m sending Dr.s notes stating how long i’m gonna be out and the treatment. Now I get I get two checks and then they stop nothing telling me that I need to see there Dr. or to expect a letter from a doctor with an appointment. when I do get the letter I’ve missed the appointment and now it takes them over two months to reschedule. now I’m being told that I will not receive a check until I go back to light duty. It has been over three months I’m getting evicted all of my utilities are pass due I got a twenty four hr. notice on my electricity. How can they get away with this. I’m about to loose everything I own. can you help me
